The Opportunity
Two NPV sites ready to move. A market waiting for always-on clean baseload — at a price users can plan against.
COMMERCIAL SCALE
Grid-scale, clean power — without the grid
35 MWh every hour, every day, for 30+ years. Plus ~10 MWt recoverable steam for cooling or district heating.
Each plant is built at the point of demand, not at the fuel source, and connects directly into the customer's own substation or a local private-wire network. That bypasses transmission costs, grid mark-ups, quota penalties, carbon taxes and the margins stacked into conventional utility supply.
A single plant delivers baseload 24/7/365 — targeting 99.999% availability, without weather dependency or exposure to global energy markets — on a site footprint of around two hectares. Capacity is modular and scalable in 17.5 MWh increments.
Priority off-takers include data centres and AI campuses, logistics and cold-chain hubs, energy-intensive manufacturing, hospitals and sovereign installations — all users for whom continuity and price certainty are non-negotiable.
THE IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY
Two commercial GCORE power stations — sites identified and available
NPV's immediate plans are to develop two commercial GCORE power stations at sites already identified and available:
NORTHERN ENGLAND, UK
~24 MONTHS TO COMMISSIONING
Decommissioned waste-to-energy facility; licences and planning in place — ready to go.
Power-export capability of 10 MWh requires upgrade to 35 MWh — Northern Power Grid engaged and receptive.
Existing industries struggling under high energy costs and poor energy availability; region heavily industrialised, high demand.
REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
~36 MONTHS TO COMMISSIONING
Site has existing planning and licences for biomass power generation; requires minor amendments only.
Within a designated hub for renewable power generation — planners favourable — and subject to government's grid-upgrade investment plans.
Off-taker demand from new and existing data centres, plus continued growth of pharmaceuticals manufacturing.
